Yes communities is a horrible place to live
We have been in the Tanglewood community in Huntsville, tx since 2019 my stove and electrical outlets have been our since Nov 2023 as well as severe roach infestation we have repeatedly ask them to fix the issues but it falls on deaf ears they don't care infact they will find a way to evict you which Is what they have Done to us .This place has caused me to have major panic attacks and severe medical issues do to the infestation
Beware they only want your money they don't care about anything else.So Beware do not rent or buy a mobil home from this company the community's are not family friendly. STAY AWAY.
User's recommendation: Beware of this place.
We’ve had three managers in the just as two years. I’ve been here and none of them follow through what they say they’re gonna do.
August 2 years Ive been at the Breakers on the anniversary of my first year, REMA sold me the mobile home. Im in she asked was anything need to be repaired?
I said the only thing I need done is my front porch is rotten. Every two weeks I go back to the office to check they kept saying OK OK Next month will be two years still not done.
The manager now has an attitude he acts like we owe him. I would like to get my porch fixed before somebody falls through it.

I need someone to contact me regarding transparency and honesty. I can be reached at 470-568-****.
I feel we are being forced to purchase a unit we really do not want. The rental office has told us they will no longer be renting units. They have moved to homeownership. We never received an email or anything in writing regarding this.
We were told that the office would not be renewing our lease. No warning or anything. Now, I feel we have to purchase the unit we are living in. I am asking for honesty and transparency.
When I call other properties, they are still renting. I also see units for rent on my community's website!
User's recommendation: do not do business with YES Communities

Verified Reviewer | Houston, TexasForced mow
We are scheduled every other Tuesday to have our lot mowed. I'm a senior citizen and have health issues and can't mow myself.
Lawn care does it on Tuesdays because it's the day they are in this part of town, not on Monday like they expect it done. It's not fair because the lot gets done regularly, just not according to the management's schedule.
I have talked to the park manager, but it doesn't matter to them. I have called the corporate office several times, but they won't answer or call me back.
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified Reviewer | Powell, TennesseeBuy or GET OUT
I am a long term resident of Yes Communities in the Knoxville, TN area. After a decade of living in my home, management essentially began an aggressive sales campaign to attempt to force me to buy the home.
Visits to the home, "Gold Key" service, were scheduled with as little notice as possible (24 hours) to frustrate residents. When these tactics didn't achieve their intended goal, a non-renewal notice was sent.
This is an effective tactic used against elderly residents who have limited resources, and see no other option but to buy the home. Search the net and you'll inevitably find that managers are given seminars on how to take advantage of residents.
- Poor management
- High potential for eviction
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Avoid any property that has been acquired by Yes Communities. Their ultimate objective is to sell you a home, and then use any means necessary to take it from you..

Verified Reviewer | Newark, New JerseyThe worst company ever!!!
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. This mobile home park has gone to the slums since this company took over.
They promised everything and did nothing except raise our rents more than it has ever been raised before in the 24 years I have been here. If I could afford to move, I would be out of here in a heartbeat. We don't even have a manager in the office here in Des Plaines, Illinois, and the ones we had in the last 2 years didn't do anything anyway. Don't move into a Yes community.
Don't believe anything they say on their website. It is all a lie.
- Does not deliver what they say
Preferred solution: Price reduction
User's recommendation: Stay away.

Verified Reviewer | Columbus, OhioBad management rent increases for no reasons maintenance doesn’t care how they repair things
Do a better check on the qualifications of management and the qualifications of the maintenance personnel. Stop raising the rent so high that people cannot afford to rent.

Verified Reviewer | Tangerang City, BantenNew Park manager is horrible
When I forgot to renew my lease on time, they charged me $1,500 for one month's rent. I called because I didn't know why my rent had increased by $300 and the park manager was very rude.
Right off the bat, he said, 'You got a letter in the mail. Don't even try to say you didn't.' I never said that, even though I didn't receive a letter. I didn't have the additional $300 until a day or two later, and I was sent a notice of eviction. This month, I told him I would be one day late due to a back injury, and he responded, 'Sorry about your troubles', and then sent me a notice of eviction on the same day, the 6th.
I am not delinquent with my rent ever! I can't wait to get out of here.
I'm telling you now, avoid living here if you're considering it. It's sad because when Christy was managing the place, it wasn't like this.
- Live on corner lot
- Park manager derek
Preferred solution: Nothing.I just wanted to let people know if they're thinking about living here. They should think about the calibre of the person that's running the place. He is fake and very two faced and no compassion for your plight.
User's recommendation: RUN!!!!!
Complaint against community manager
My son has been singled out on one issue because Brandi, the office manager, has become friends with Meghan, a resident who swears at my son. My son put rocks on the basketball court as a joke and cleaned it up.
However, in the last week, other kids have been caught throwing rocks at people and houses, and my son is the ONLY ONE who was told he has to have adult supervision. He is 14— he shouldn't need adult supervision. It's a community area; it's supposed to be for the whole community. Since this friendship formed, I've tried to bring attention to Brandi's issues with Meghan, only to be dismissed.
It's important to note that the kids who throw rocks at people and houses aren't being told they can't be there, but my son is due to a biased friendship she has formed. I also applied for a position there, which I now know I won't get due to her biased behavior, even though I am more than qualified.
- Nice maintenance man
- Everything from park itself to office staff
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Don't move in here

Verified Reviewer | Naperville, IllinoisThieves, liars, and slum lords
I had workes at Yes Communities but got fired when I filed a complaint with them after being raped by a training manager from out of town. Next thing I knew I was fired.
I DID NOTHING WRONG! I have had nothing but trauma and PTSD due to what happened. To add insult to injury, the home I owned they forced me to leave. I had family that lived in the mobile home park and Chelsea Bannister told me in order to still be able to see them I had to turn over my title to my home.
They filed eviction asking for no money or damages. I gave Jill McKinney my title at the court date. Completed Right? No!
Their lawyer, Kurt Eckert, still has not finished the case! IT IS STILL OPEN! Causing me to have problems renting a home anywhere else! I did what I was told when Chelsea Bannister used extortion to get me out and take my home!
I was raped! My body violated! My face beaten, my clothes ripped, my memories forever *** They took my home! Yet they still hold my case open from court!
I will spend the rest of my life finding out everything I can about Yes Communities investors and Managers and I will sue for everything I can! I also have many, many others ready to go into a case against Yes Communities!
My life goal is to fight for all of those that have been wronged by Yes Communities! They are thieves, liars, slum lords, and one manager is a Rapist.

Complaint against community manager
Management is very rude. Do not move here you are not respected at all.
They have a new manager Alma she is not worth 2 cents!!
They need someone new in there they are so desperate for ppl they will hire anyone. She will harass you as well.
She is new and don't know anything of what's going on in the community.
User's recommendation: Do not move here
HUGE INCREASE IN FEES AND RENT!
Almost everyone in this Old Dutch Farms community in Novi, Michigan, is struggling to make ends meet. Rent is astronomical, the fees for bringing in your TRASH CAN has increased to $25 just to walk it 20ft and put it behind your porch, the trash pick up has increased $1.50/month (now $16/month) and the company is never on time for trash day.
They come DAYS later. Rent increases by $50 quite a bit, with no updating to the community and NO actual amenities that residents have suggested. WE NEVER ASKED FOR A 12x8 "DOG PARK"! It is so tiny you would just laugh hysterically, and it is right up against an extremely fast and busy road, so it's also VERY dangerous.
New management every other month that will nitpick even new homes to "re-paint shutters" that are BRAND NEW and look fantastic or else you will be penalized with, yet another fee. Force mows are now $75/per week (a $25 increase) EVERY WEEK ADDED TO YOUR LEDGER if you do not mow, weed whip, get rid of every dandelion, and put weed killer down. We have NO pool, but somehow it is still advertised like we do.
WE ARE BEING ROBBED HERE! SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE!
User's recommendation: Do not live here! Or ANY Yes! Community!

Verified Reviewer | Springfield, IllinoisHave lived on this property for 4 years. yes just came in and The management is worse than before.
Has done nothing in regards to upkeep on the roads nor sidewalks. Did not plow this winter storm.
Maintenance is non existent ( had work order in for 3 months now). Not careful about who they rent to never had *** dealers before. Hired lawn crew that sprays poison indiscriminately on MY property with no notice ( dog got very sick). Changed garbage company now we get to pay MORE for LESS service...
1 can 1x a week and NO Recycling yet the lot fees increase. NO parks ( we do have a swamp that I am sure the epa would cringe about) NOT a nice place to raise kids
User's recommendation: Look for a "community" that actually cares about it's residents

Verified Reviewer | Raisinville, MichiganRejection of ability to move into raisin ridge monroe, mi
I have an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) and was rejected by the underwriters to move into the mobile home park. My house was destroyed by a tornado and FEMA gave me the cash to purchase a new home, but I was informed on Thursday that I was rejected by the underwriters.
I am SICK but not STUPID ! and I know my rights. They refused to email the reason why even though they have have my email address but told me I had to wait for the post office to deliver it. I am afraid that the sellers will sell the home to someone else by the time I receive the letter.
I have investigated the Americans with Disabilities Act and I found it is illegal to turn down my living areas. I will be filing a FEMA complaint as well as hiring an ATTORNEY to help me with a lawsuit RE: the civil rights of persons with disability act to prohibit discrimination even though I submitted a letter from my psychiatrist of my need for my need for an ESA dog.
I will be reaching out to an ATTORNEY on MONDAY. PS: Your office says they are open from 10 am to 2 pm but I cannot get anyone to answer the phone since 10 am, maybe you should check on your employees if they are working on Saturday like they should be in the office

- Learn the laws and teach them how to respect potential customers
Preferred solution: Reason why I was not accepted to live in the community. I have temporary housing till July I am on a time constraint. I have contacted HUD regarding the discrimination about my support dog.

Unfair treatment of residents
Residents are forced to have their personal business out in whole in the whole community. The management office is a joke. They are rude, uncaring in this time when seniors are not getting paid on the first of the month it's hard to pay on the first and they just don't care pay or get out. They will help you get in and gladly put you out. They tell you to call emergency service at night nobody answers the phone.

Not the least bit surprised, seems as though all they have “working” in the office are *** who are usually one upped the the condescending “managers” it’s a good thing none of them are worthy of catching a case for or I would have.
